C.L.A. Photo Art's Charitable Donations


Many customers like yourself, as well as C.L.A. Photo Art believe in supporting reputable charities. In an effort to give back to those in need, C.L.A. Photo Art donates 20% of your photo print(s) purchase price to worthwhile charities. You can feel good knowing that 20% of your photo print(s) purchase price will be going to help others. At the end of each year C.L.A. Photo Art will donate the equivalent to 20% of the total photo print(s) purchase price split evenly among the following charities (in no particular order);



Oparah's Angel Network
Oprah's Angel Network grants awards to organizations and operates projects in under-served communities that provide educational initiatives as well as assist people in fulfilling basic human needs and regaining dignity. Because Oprah Winfrey makes a donation to Oprah's Angel Network equal to its management and general as well as fundraising expenses, 100% of your donation goes toward program costs.

Cancer Research Institute
The Cancer Research Institute (CRI) was founded in 1953 to foster the science of cancer immunology, which is based on the premise that the body's immune system can be mobilized against cancer. This field, which CRI helped pioneer and develop, has been recognized throughout the world as offering great hope for the ultimate prevention and treatment of human cancer. For five decades, the Institute has been a sustaining force in cancer and immunology research. The Institute has supported more than 2,780 scientists and clinicians at leading universities and research centers worldwide.

Conservation Fund
The Conservation Fund is the nation's foremost environmental organization dedicated to protecting America's most important landscapes and waterways. The Conservation Fund has a dual-purpose mission to promote economic development and environmental protection. Using market-based approaches, the Fund works with the private sector to provide comprehensive real estate solutions and sustainable technologies. Through this partnership-driven approach, the Fund works across all 50 states to preserve each region's unique natural resources, cultural heritage, and historic places. Since 1985, the Fund and its partners have protected more than five million acres of wildlife habitat, working landscapes, rivers and wetlands, and community open space.

American Indian College Fund
The American Indian College Fund provides scholarships and other support for the nation's 32 tribal colleges. These tribal colleges play a vital role in preparing students for a brighter tomorrow, offering accredited degrees while keeping them in touch with their Indian culture. The colleges currently serve more than 30,000 part-and full-time students, representing over 250 tribes. We provide 5-6,000 scholarships annually, for American Indian students seeking to better their lives through continued education. In 2004, the Fund disbursed over $4 million in scholarship support. From these funds, over 5,000 scholarships were awarded to deserving American Indian students.

Cancer Care
CancerCare is a national organization whose mission is to provide free, professional support services to anyone affected by cancer: people with cancer, caregivers, children, loved ones, and the bereaved. CancerCare programs - including counseling, education, financial assistance and practical help - are provided by trained oncology social workers and are completely free of charge. Founded in 1944, CancerCare now provides individual help to more than 90,000 people each year, in addition to the 1.4 million people who gain information and resources from its website.

Treatment Advocacy Center
The Treatment Advocacy Center (TAC) is a national organization dedicated to eliminating barriers to the timely and effective treatment of severe mental illnesses. TAC promotes laws, policies, and practices for the delivery of psychiatric care and supports the development of innovative treatments for and research into the causes of severe and persistent psychiatric illnesses, such as schizophrenia and bipolar disorder. Founded in 1998, TAC is working on the national, state, and local levels to educate civic, legal, criminal justice, and legislative communities on the benefits of assisted treatment in an effort to decrease homelessness, jailing, suicide, violence and other devastating consequences caused by lack of treatment.

National Alliance to End Homelessness
The National Alliance to End Homelessness is a nonpartisan, mission-driven organization committed to preventing and ending homelessness in the United States and is a leading voice on the issue of homelessness. The Alliance analyzes policy and develops pragmatic, cost-effective policy solutions. We work collaboratively with the public, private, and nonprofit sectors to build state and local capacity, leading to stronger programs and policies that help homeless individuals and families make positive changes in their lives. We provide data and research to policymakers and elected officials in order to inform policy debates and educate the public and opinion leaders nationwide.
